2025 Mermaid Festival Every Weekend in April
The ever-so-popular annual Mermaid Festival is expanding this year. This festival is held every weekend in April. The event is free and family friendly, including admission to the museum. The event takes place at the Westport Winery Garden Resort, home of the International Mermaid Museum, nestled halfway between Aberdeen and Westport.
The International Mermaid Museum is known for its teachings of the ocean's ecology system. Students and visitors are immersed in the unique life between the beach and the underwater world while also being submerged in the mythology of mermaids.
This exciting event includes world-class entertainers, talented local artists, and curators of mouthwatering fresh treats. Una, who is the Northwest’s most famous mermaid, will be performing underwater. Siren Circe, whom many met at the oyster shucking exhibit, will oversee the mermaid’s throne. Vertical Axis performers will captivate you with electrifying energy while suspended from a 20-foot tower. The Pacific Northwest Unicorns and their handler will also make an appearance, and so many more.
The festival will also host a costume contest on Easter Sunday, April 20th at 1 pm. While enjoying all the entertainment, do not forget to check out the arts and crafts, face painting, and balloon animals.
